Meet Millie! Millie is a 49 pound beautiful happy 2 year old American Pit Bull and maybe American Staffordshire terrier. Millie is such a joy to be around and her love for life fills any room she is in. She has the best smile and is very smart and eager to learn! Millie knows basic commands like sit stay and shake, and she is crate/house/leash trained! Millie loves to go for car rides and has done great with dogs and people of all ages and sizes. Millie does need work on jumping a bit so it will be important to watch for that with small children in the home. Interested in becoming a forever home for Millie? If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Millie.We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Millie the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
